Review: Vagabundos 2012 mixed by Luciano compilation

The Vagabundos party row in Ibiza is at the moment one of the best House Music events on this mighty planet. Taking place the 3rd summer at club Pacha, these parties offer everything you need: A cool and relaxed crowd, people who adore house music, an outstanding concept, a beautiful club, an amazing sound system and exceptional music artists from around the globe. The host of the evenings is dj and label boss of Cadenza Music Luciano, definitely one of the best House DJs right now. His sets can be best described as pumping tech house with a crazy touch. He always works hard behind his decks, uses lots of effects and is always good for a surprise!

This year, Luciano is releasing an official Vagabundos mix, to showcase his brilliant way of deejaying and the work of many Cadenza artists. The mix is a constant flow from one tune into the other, as you can already see in the tracklist below. Vagabundos 2012 mixed by Luciano is a must for every Cadenza fan and people with a quality House Music taste.

DIRTY MIND MIX #153: Vladimir Corbin (Germany)

This weeks DIRTY MIND MIX is from our mix resident Vladimir Corbin. Get ready for a tech-house firework! Tune in at www.dirtymindmusic.com

About the artist:

Vladimir Corbin's first steps in the electronic music biz was in 1993 with promoting the big regular event "Stay Tuned" in the area of Stuttgart/Germany together with the now well-know DJ duo Tune Brothers. In 2002 he became the editor of the famous music mag "Sub Culture" in Stuttgart. He began to deejay and developed an own sound signature: deep pumping beats, full chords and clear sounds. A Corbin set is going from Berlin over Detroit to Chicago and back. 2007 he mixed the compilation "Electronic Clubtunes" (ZYX) with a following club tour through Germany (Monza, U60311, Airport, etc). Corbin also started to produce own tracks with powerful sounds.

10 Au Jour Le Jour - The Junkies
11 Pornoactress - Dopplereffekt

About the artist:
A ‘pan-pot’ is a simple, functional dial that governs the left and right axis of the stereo field, useful but unremarkable; mobilee’s Pan-Pot is an entirely different proposition, a duo (Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix) whose mastery of audio principles allows them to turn conventions on their heads, casting functionality aside as they plumb the deep, uncharted depths of pitch-black techno. Since their inception in 2005, Pan-Pot have become a dominant presence in modern techno, an ascent mirrored in the rise of their home label mobilee records to the top tier of electronic music. Tagging themselves as “the dark side of the force,” Pan-Pot have melted minds, warped perceptions and reinvigorated the dancefloor with their heady, unorthodox sound; within their work, subtle pitch manipulations square off with wall-of-sound distortion, the dark stomp of 4/4 is tamed by intricate sound design, and minimalistic frameworks duel with throbbing bass lines, epic builds, and murky, off-kilter melodies.
